About the Event
10.15am: Storytelling: Adventures of Squirky the Alien by Thasha Gunaseelan
A sci-fi story about a 5-year-old alien called Squirky who embarks on a space quest to search for his birth parents with his adoptive human sister, Emma.
10.25am: Sharing by Emerson and Sheldon Chong, child authors and cartoonists
-H.E.R.O. virtues from my story book by Emerson Chong
Emerson Chong, 10, will share the acronym of H.E.R.O. and the virtues and qualities of the characters in the storybook that he has authored and illustrated, “Attack of the Evil Clone”
-My parents, my superheroes by Sheldon Chong
Sheldon Chong, 12, will share about his journey in writing and illustrating “The Time Dimension” and how his parents have inspired and supported him.
10.45am: My parents are superheroes! Activity by The Story Book
An activity for parents and children to share about their ‘superpowers’ organized by The Story Book.
