A Midsummer Night's Dream Workshop

Online play-acting workshop (via Zoom) for kids age 8 to 14 over 2 weeks (1 hour per week) on 3rd and 4th June 2021.

The script is based on an abridged version of the story and using modern English.

Characters: 

Fairy King and queen: Oberon, Titania

Athenians: Lysander, Demetrius, Hermia & Helena; 

Puck the fairy and Nick Bottom, the weaver. 

Day 1 – 3rd June (11am to 12pm)

•Warm up, briefing and introduction of characters (5min)

•Practice (50min)

•Summary and recap (5min)

Day 2 – 4th June (11am to 12pm)

•Warm up and final rehearsal (30min)

•Performance Recording (30min)

Note to parents:

1.A minimum of 5 kids needed to start the workshop. Max 8 kids.

2.THE STORY BOOK Academy has the right to decide who will play which role (based on suitability of the child for the role).

3.The final performance recording will be aired on Facebook and YouTube on 6th June tentatively).
