Audition for Aladdin

Audition call for Aladdin (Feb 2024 intake) roleplay/acting class for kids age 4 to 9 with a performance at PJPAC. Classes will be held at PJPAC.

Pick the audition time you like to attend on 13th Jan (Sat) – either between 11am to 12.30pm or 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

Characters:

1. Aladdin
2. Princess Jasmine
3. Jafar
4. Genie 
5. The Sultan and opening scene storyteller
6. Abu (Aladdin’s monkey)
7. Iago (Jafar’s parrot) 
8. Magic Carpet
9. Gazeem (Jafar’s servant)
10. Razoul, Chief Guard
11. Prince Abdullah
12. Other guards (2 roles) and shop owner (2 roles). These roles will also be part of the Prince Ali parade.

Candidates who pass the audition will be required to attend rehearsals/classes at the dates specified (total 11 classes) at PJPAC, 1 Utama:

• 3 Feb, 24 Feb (Sat, 10.30am to 11.30am)
• 9 Mar, 23 Mar (Sat, 10.30am to 11.30am)
• 6 Apr, 20 Apr (Sat, 10.30am to 11.30am)
• 4 May, 18 May (Sat. 10.30am to 11.30am)
• 3 Jun (Mon, 10am) theatre rehearsal
• 8 Jun (Sat, 2pm), 22 Jun (Sat, 2pm)

Performance at  PJPAC:

23rd June  (Sun)

Class Fees for confirmed casts: RM685 (for total 11 sessions + 1 performance)

(fees do not include costume but will include 2 tickets for parents for the kids' performance on 23rd June).
